MAC- CRISIS COMMUNICATION

For my Crisis Communication Strategy Assignment, I analyzed MAC’s Nutcracker Sweet Collection controversy, where an influencer exposed repackaged old makeup in PR samples, leading to viral backlash and accusations of unethical practices.

I developed a crisis response strategy focused on transparency, accountability, and reputation repair. My plan included a public apology, clarification of the factory error, and process improvements to regain consumer trust and prevent similar issues in future launches.
